Training provider overview

The Engineering College, is the trading name of the Maritime and Engineering College North West and is a Group Training Association located in the heart of the Liverpool City Region, specialising in technical engineering apprenticeships.

Set up in 1998 as a centre of excellence to combat chronic skills shortages in the engineering industry, the college delivers excellence in technical engineering apprenticeships, putting employers at the heart of the training and providing apprentices with the skills to forge successful engineering careers.

In that time we have qualified thousands of engineers across the marine, construction, energy, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, maintenance, heavy lift, medical and rail sectors.
